Information you provide
Checklist and newsletter forms may ask for your first name, email address, and email preferences. A local-help request may also include a ZIP code, service interest, project timing, home ownership, and an optional phone number. Please do not submit medical or other sensitive information.
How we use information
We use information to deliver requested resources, respond to inquiries, operate and improve HomeForLonger, and understand where families are seeking support. Newsletter enrollment is optional. At launch, local-help requests are used as internal demand signals and are not automatically sent or sold to contractors. We will clearly ask for consent before sharing contact information with a provider.
Website and campaign data
Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, device information, and request logs to deliver and secure the website. Campaign labels may be stored temporarily in your browser so we can understand how you reached HomeForLonger. If analytics tools are enabled, this policy will be updated to identify them and explain the choices available to you.
Retention and your choices
Local-help requests are retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons. Newsletter subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing privacy@homeforlonger.org. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe option.
Service providers and external links
We may use service providers for website hosting, form processing, email delivery, and analytics. They may process information only to provide those services to us. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy practices.
Children and policy updates
HomeForLonger is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as our services change and will post the revised effective date here.
